UK gift calendar 2027: when independent shops should order
For Valentine’s Day (14 February 2027), Mother’s Day (7 March 2027) and Easter (28 March 2027), order House of Dehua flowers by 15 December 2026. For weddings and graduations in June and July 2027, order by 15 April 2027. For Christmas 2027, order by 1 October 2027.

Why spring orders close in mid-December
Orders take 3 to 4 weeks to make from payment, and air delivery takes 7 to 12 working days. The studio in Dehua also closes for Chinese New Year, from late January to 20 February 2027. An order placed by 15 December arrives in January, in time to merchandise for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
Which designs suit which occasion?
- Valentine’s Day: Imperial Peony in crimson or red tip, and the Twin Blush Peony.
- Mother’s Day: Carnation on Walnut and the Heritage Peony.
- Easter and spring: pale colourways such as blush, primrose and celadon.
- Weddings and graduations: the Petite Rose as a favour or thank-you.
- Christmas: the Gilded Peony and the Twelve Flower Spirits.
